Patelson Music House, founded by Joseph Patelson in 1947, tonight presented its third Book Reading and Signing event, with Susanne Dunlap reading and signing from her passionate novel, Liszt's Kiss. As it was Valentine's Day, refreshments and decorations enhanced the Holiday, and the Patelson guests were mesmerized by the tales of Liszt's amorous adventures. The Patelson Jazz guests were one again treated to wines from 67 Wine & Spirits, and Patelson guests browsed sheet music collections and the new Patelson Gift Boutique, stocked for birthdays and even presents for yourself. This was, as always, a complimentary Open House, hosted by Marsha Patelson, and staff was on hand to help serve cheese and hors d’oeuvres.
The next Patelson monthly event, part of the Wine Wednesday series, will be Co-Hosted by 67 Wine & Spirits and Wine Cellar Sorbets, with choice red and white wines poured throughout the evening, plus a sparkling wine sorbet. The date is March 12, 2008, with Luellen Abdoo on violin and Ariell Levioff on piano, presenting works by Beethoven, Kreisler, Mozart, Ravel, Schubert, and Vivaldi. The complimentary evenings begin at 5:30 PM and last until 7:30 PM.
