Patelson Music House presented another great, live music event. Tonight’s vocalists and musicians, from the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, sang in front of and among the audience, assembled in the Patelon Music House, surrounded by sheet music for operatic arias, Broadway standards, and piano sonatas. The audience was quite enthused and at one point sang along with the vocalists. There was live keyboard accompaniment to enhance the selections, from such light opera productions as "The Mikado", "The Pirates of Penzance", and "H.M.S. Pinafore". The event was very well attended and enthusiastically received. You can find sheet music for Gilbert & Sullivan light operas at Patelson Music House.
Patelson guests were personally treated again to wines from 67 Wine & Spirits, plus cheese and cookies. Patelson guests browsed sheet music collections and the new Patelson Gift Boutique, stocked for summer shopping. This was, as always, a complimentary Open House, hosted by Marsha Patelson, and raffles were drawn for gifts from Patelson Music House, plus several gift certificates for dental whitening from Dr. Clarence Loflin in Murray Hill, New York City.
The Fall 2008 Patelson monthly events, part of the Wine Wednesday series, will again be Co-Hosted by 67 Wine & Spirits, with choice red and white wines poured throughout the evenings. Check Upcoming Events for Fall 2008 dates. The complimentary evenings begin at 5:30 PM and last until 7:30 PM.
