January 13, 2005 Today I visited Amish Market on Ninth Avenue, whereI found only the freshest of organic and fine vegetables, fruits, nuts, cheeses, gourmet desserts, fresh breads and whole grain rolls, oven baked pizzas, cold buffet, hot buffet, olive bar, and every kind of salad oil, vinegar, mustard, and even truffles and caviar. There is a fresh fish and shellfish counter, with numerous varieties of smoked salmon and clams. There is a meat and chicken butcher counter, with prime meats and sensational sausages.
At Amish Market, you will find free delivery, and my personal delivery man walked a shopping cart over numerous blocks to my apartment building and up the elevator right to my door. At Amish Market you can create a gift basket, from the many hanging baskets, fruits, cheeses, fresh breads and cookies, and gourmet dried fruits and chocolates. The staff at Amish Market are mainly from Turkey, and Turkish people are charming, handsome, and sophisticated.
