This is not a detailed and technically researched documentary, but, rather, a mental and visual reflection of a wonderful trip.

For my second trip on the elegant schooner, Shearwater, I was invited to join Captain Chris and his mates for a sunny afternoon sail, with children, families, and a variety of interesting, enthusiastic sailors from the New York region. We sailed past landmark bridges, Statue of Liberty, the World Financial Center buildings, numerous downtown museums and piers, and the time seemed to all too quickly fly by.
I thoroughly enjoyed the sunny day cruise, a different mood from the previous, early evening sail, and I hope to sail with Shearwater again very soon, next time later at night, when the stars are bright.
