The Consulate General of Argentina always prsents a lovely and class act reception for artists, musicians, and dance performers. They even sometimes create Tango Milongas and jazz events. Tonight's reception was for the opening night of two contrasting visual art exhibitions, those of Daniel Carranza and his fantasy and message-induced paintings, and those of Sanchez Fantino and his abstract paintings of spaces and shapes. Mr. Carranza resides in Westchester, NY, where he exhibits in a gallery, and Mr. Sanchex resides in Buenos Aires, where he exhibits locally. Both collections were fascinating, and it was a pleasure to meet both artists. Deputy Consul General, Luis Pablo Marķa Beltramino for Cultural Affairs, has been a dear friend and supporter of this magazine.
