Kimberly Hester, singer, actress, dancer, in the long-running Broadway show, The Producers, by Mel Brooks, recently announced her engagement, right after her performance, at Tony's Amarone Ristorante, a bustling Italian bistro in the theatre district, at Ninth Avenue, between 47th and 48th Streets. Kimberly is engaged to Ric Tabor, also known to friends as Rico. The cast of The Producers and friends of the cast usually stop by Amarone after the show and sit at the bar to visit with Proprietor, Tony, and his warm, friendly staff.
Kimberly celebrated a birthday tonight with champagne, a repeat performance of the engagement champagne toasts we all had last week. Tony treated Kimberly's friends to Italian cheesecake and elegant desserts, as well as the premium champagne.
