I had been looking forward to this Enhanced Harbor - New York City comprehensive tour, up in the New York skies. Pam Schaefer, Owner and Director of Sales at Liberty Helicopter, invited me to join her for this tour, and we were in luck with clear, sunny skies. The helicopter has large, clear window views, and we swept down the East River, down to New York Harbor, across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, and along the Hudson River, too. From such an amazing height, we were able to actually see where the rivers meet, where the bridges cross, the full expanse of Central Park, the two Yankee Stadiums, the proximity of the Statue of Liberty to Ellis Island, the expanse of Roosevelt and Governor's Islands, new construction sites, ferries, ports, and so much more.

Pam and I sat up front with Steve, our pilot, and two visitors from Germany sat in the rear. Everybody had windows for full, clear views. The pilot and I had two windows each, as I sat in the front left seat, with the pilot in front right, Pam between us. The experience was spectacular, and we were treated to Steve's professional pointers on all the sightseeing locations. We even flew right over Terrace in the Sky Restaurant on Manhattan's Upper West Side, where Pam and I had lunched the week before.
