Mustang Harry's, on Seventh Avenue, near Madison Square Garden, is the perfect Sunday Brunch destination, with comfortable booths, sparkling champagne by the glass, and a wide variety of light appetizers, salads, pastas, sandwiches, full entrées, and desserts to crave for. You can meet old friends at this centrally located bistro, as I did today.
Elie Lazar, Artistic Director of Montgomery Ballet, based in Alabama, was back in town for a few days, and we decided to catch up today at Mustang Harry's. I interviewed Elie (watch for the upcoming posted interview in "Offstage with the Dancers") about his Company, and we chatted for hours about infamous performers, such as Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev, and about numerous ballet companies around the globe. Mustang Harry's invites relaxation and good conversation, with its warm, wooden decor and friendly staff. Joyce assisted us today, and she was thrilled to meet Elie Lazar.
Mustang Harry's now has Happy Hour, 3 to 6 PM, plus Live Music Nights and Special Events. Call 212.268.8930, and ask for Emma. Reserve a booth or table for Sunday Brunch or dinner before or after a concert or game at Madison Square Garden. Tell them you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com.
