Ask for Frank Dr. Roberta E. Zlokower December 16, 2009
Carlos Salvador, a Business Officer at TD Bank, joined me to celebrate The Holidays tonight. Our second stop was Agua Dulce, at Ninth Avenue and 53rd Street, near the Walter Kerr Theatre, where we would see "A Little Night Music". Frank, General Manager of Agua Dulce, gave Carlos a tour of the new outdoor patio (for warmer nights), the private downstairs party space, the cooking station, and the architecture of this stunning new Pan-Latin restaurant in New York's Hell's Kitchen. The bar, near the entrance, has a lighted, liqueur ladder and unique décor, with hot sultry music surrounding the guests.
We chose bountiful glasses of Malbec and Cabernet and shared Salmon Citrus Ceviche, with Jalapeño and Lime, Grilled Balsamic Edamame (a gift from Frank), and House Made Guacamole, with Fresh Mango and Tortilla Chips. Chef Ulrich Sterling stopped by to say hello. Stop by Agua Dulce's busy bar, before or after a Broadway or Off-Broadway show, and ask for Frank. Tell him you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com!
