I was joined for an After-Theatre (The Miracle Worker at Circle in the Square) dinner at Il Punto Ristorante, by Amy Halpin, General Manager of the Broadway branch of TD Bank. We dined on two dishes, which the kitchen kindly split onto two plates, one a salad, and one a fresh pasta. We selected Insalata Greca Il Punto, with Grilled Chicken, Shrimp, Cucumbers, Olives, Feta Cheese, and Lemon Dressing, as well as Conchiglie con Cavolfiori, Gamberi, e Broccoli, which were Tiny Pasta Shells, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Red Onion, Olives, Capers, and Anchovies. Our red and white wines were from vineyards in Italy.
Dora, Christina, and Manager, Joe, all came by to be sure we were comfortable, and the wait staff was warm and attentive. Il Punto Ristorante is an old-world styled Italian restaurant, with a classy, relaxed ambiance and exceptional regional Italian cuisine. Call 212.244.0088 and reserve a table for after-theatre or pre-theatre dining. Tell them you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com.
