Recently, Michael Brenner, General Manager, Operations & Marketing, Joe Canal's Discount Liquor Outlet, was kind to chauffeur me back and forth to photo the most exciting wine store I’ve ever seen. With over 25,000 total square feet and regional wines by the aisle, Joe Canal’s has wines from France, Chile, Italy, Germany, Austria, Greece, Japan, and from all over the globe. There is a Beer Center with spigots that pour local and imported wines, kegs to fill and refill your favorite beers, and a Wine Tasting center at which you can use a pre-paid card to try out rare and unusual wines by the ounce, then look for the bottle in a designated aisle.
