See an Introduction to the New Pier 9
Just before "catching" the new show, "Catch Me If You Can", I stopped by the new Pier 9 for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and the best shrimp cocktail I've had in years. A gift from the kitchen was hot fried cornbread and butter. The seafood at Pier 9 is top notch, fresh, and bountiful. Moon, a new Manager at Pier 9, graciously waited on me in the seated bar area. Pier 9 has an expansive bar area, with at-bar seating and service by the bartender, or seating with more privacy and space at your own bar table. The decor is nautical, and the menu is enticing. Call 212.262.1299, and ask for Alex, Moon, or Zaskia. Reserve a dining table or bar table, or you can dine at the elegant bar, and tell them you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com!
