I was recently joined at YumYum 3 by Jason, webmaster for RobertaOnTheArts.com. It was just before the Holidays, and the decor was inviting and most colorful. The cuisine, as well, was inviting and colorful, with orchids in the drinks and fruits and vegetables adorning the chicken and seafoods. The crepe and spring rolls were steaming hot, filled with peanuts, noodles, or vegetables. I dined on coconut soup with chicken, lime, and vegetables, and Jason dined on seafood soup, with ground chicken and tofu. My steamed shrimp was enhanced with Panang curry, and Jason's red snapper was enhanced with basil tomato sauce.
YumYum 3 is located on the corner of NYC's Restaurant Row (West 46th Street) and Ninth Avenue, also called Hell's Kitchen. It is one of three fine Thai restaurants, all located near each other and all bustling with business. Nira, Owner/Manager, and Oh, restaurant Manager, oversee the cheerful, helpful staff. Stop by YumYum 3, and ask for Oh. Tell her you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com.
