Read a Testimonial Article about Luce.

On a recent, sunny August afternoon, I stopped at Luce, a warm, vibrant Italian restaurant, near Lincoln Center and Central Park, for lunch at their sidewalk caffe, also known as the terrazzo. I dined on a white wine spritzer and smoked salmon with capers, onions, and toasted bread. The service was impeccable, with Oscar on board the wait staff. The ambiance at Luce’s terrazzo is serendipitous, as passersby may include musicians, opera singers, choreographers, dancers, actors, composers, costume / stage designers, professors, computer wizzes, and the all-day / everyday arts aficionados, as Luce is located so close to the Met Opera House, Koch Theater, Geffen Hall, Vivian Beaumont Theater, Library for Performing Arts, Merkin Hall, Tully Hall, Juilliard School, School of American Ballet, American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Professional Children’s School, and New York Institute of Technology. Luce’s interior is replete with framed, contemporary art, and a cozy, busy bar. Luce’s authentic Italian cuisine draws dinner and lunch guests from the broad arts community that makes Lincoln Square so culturally unique. For the finest Italian cuisine near and far, visit Luce Restaurant & Enoteca. Tell them you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com!
