Read an Introductory Testimonial about Luce.

Luce has long been my dining destination near Lincoln Center and the art film houses, including New York Film Society. Luce Restaurant & Enoteca, on Broadway between 68th and 69th Streets, is open from 11:30 AM to 11 PM, and to 11:30 PM on weekends. Lunch, Dinner, and Weekend Brunch can be enjoyed in the main dining room, with its extraordinary European flair, at the intimate marble bar, or at its surrounding bar tables. The proprietors will greet you on every visit, and these days, on the cold winter nights, a glass of red wine or snifter of cognac, plus a dish of homemade pasta, chicken or snapper filet (see the above testimonial and links), and vibrant conversation with the bartender will warm your spirit. For takeout or delivery, Luce’s service is impeccable. Luce can especially cater parties and events at your home or office, too.

I recently stopped at Luce on a few evenings, before or after an art film or concert, for Italian cuisine takeouts, and, as always, everything was cooked to perfection. Below are photos of two stops for Salmon Steak takeout, and one for Filet of Red Snapper takeout. Luce has a very expansive and diverse menu, of homemade pastas, fresh seafood and fish filets, beef, chicken, and veal dishes, and a fantastic array of appetizers and desserts. The premium bar has cognacs and brandies as well as a superb selection of fine wines by bottle and glass. Stop by Luce for lunch, dinner, brunch, or after-theater dining, or for professionally prepared and presented takeout. Tell them you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com!
