Tonight’s “Jazz in the Sky”, indoors on a cool, autumn evening, was soothing and sensual, with Maucha Adnet's native Brazilian style. Maucha worked with Jobim, and she comes from a family well entrenched in Samba, Bossa Nova, and other musical genres. In fact, Maucha sang "These Foolish Things" in English, as "Jazz in the Sky" guests were entranced with the music, while she effortlessly switched from Portuguese to English.

The event menu at Terrace in the Sky includes a delicious, three-course dinner at “Jazz in the Sky” pricing, with wine or cocktail. Now that we are indoors for the season, we have exquisite, wraparound views of the New York skyline and beyond. Guests can stay late, order a cognac, and absorb the scintillating ambiance.

More Fall/Winter Dates to be Announced.

Call Terrace in the Sky at 212.666.9490 to reserve a good seat or table. Tell them you saw them on RobertaOnTheArts.com.
