Tonight’s “Jazz in the Sky”, outdoors on a warm, summer evening, swayed with Victor Prieto’s rich accordion sounds, Emilio Solla’s rapturous keyboard improvisations, and Oscar Feldman’s sultry sax. Argentine Tango never sounded so soulful, so searing, so sensual. There were traditional tangos, such as “Bahia Blanca”, contemporary tangos, such as “Libertango”, and one original tango-jazz, composed by each musician in the Trio. Additionally, the jazz genre was woven into various works in unique and riveting ways that kept the audience mesmerized throughout this two-set performance.

The event menu at Terrace in the Sky includes a delicious, three-course dinner at “Jazz in the Sky” pricing, with wine or cocktail. Fireworks over a Central Park concert were perfectly timed to entertain the audience during the edgy, yet elegant tangos.
