One of New York’s most elegant and magnetic restaurant interiors is now on view on West 26th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. You will be transported to 1930’s-40’s New York, Milan, London, or Paris, with dark wood paneled walls, luxurious lighting and mirrors, fanciful bistro posters, the hottest bar in town, and the most Mediterranean array of tapas and Bazár signature cocktails you’ve ever enjoyed. And, speaking of enjoyment, Ladislav, and Manager, Jenna, along with their attentive staff, will ensure that your experience is extraordinary, each and every time. Amidst the chic décor of rustic wood floors, exposed brick walls, leather banquettes, intimate window dining, crystal chandeliers, private bar tables, historical portraits and posters, aromatic candles, painted columns, a most expansive bar, and comfortable spacious seating, you will find a lunch, brunch, dinner, or bar menu to impress your discerning palette.

Lunch options include Fresh Pressed Juices of Green Apple or Pineapple & Ginger, Truffle Hummus, Burrata e Pomodori, Cacciatorini (Hunter Salami, Fine Herbs, Dry White Wine), Bresaola (Air Dried Beef), Jamon, Serrano Ham, Vegetarian Haloumi Cake, Gnocchi al Pesto, Branzino Fillet, and East Coast Oysters. Dinner Options also include King Salmon Crudo with French Radish & Fennel Slices, Jumbo Crab Cake with Apple, Jicama Salad, and Remulade, Gambas al Ajillo (Tiger Shrimp, Garlic Sauce and Toast Points), and Paella di Mare (Scallops, Octopus, Shrimp, Cod, Mussels, Squid, Chorizo, Saffron & Lobster Broth). If you’re in the mood for Weekend Brunch (10:30 AM to 3:30 PM), which is usually accompanied with live music, you might choose the Omelette with Smoked Salmon, my choice in the photo below, with photos of that day’s jazz trio, or you might prefer Tuna Tartare or Croque Monsieur or Madame.

Every Friday night from 10 PM to 1 AM, it’s Karaoke Night, and every day from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the bar, it’s Happy Hour, only at Bazár, so come with friends for the finest cocktails, wine, beer, and liqueur found midtown!
